Message-ID: <106@mspiggy> Date: Tue, 20-Sep-83 15:24:33 EDT Article-I.D.: mspiggy>.106 Posted: Tue Sep 20 15:24:33 1983 Date-Received: Wed, 21-Sep-83 03:58:09 EDT Organization: Microsoft, Bellevue, WA Lines: 18 Has anyone succeeded in getting any information about the internal workings of the Vectrex video game (with its 6809 processor)? I have tried calling GCE (its manufacturer), but they are very closed-mouthed about the machine. They claim that its design is proprietary and will release no information about it, not even a service manual. In order to get a service manual, you need to be a licensed service rep (the license costs $$$) and you need to sign a non-disclosure agreement with GCE. It seems to me that withholding service information is in violation of various consumer protection statutes, but then I'm not a lawyer. If anyone has any info, I would be interested in learning more about this machine. Thanx in advance. Happy hacking, Dan McCabe decvax!microsof!danm
