CSO chief executive Rocco Marano, in a letter to U.S. District Judge Harold Greene, has said that the CSO is not barred from offering network support services of the same type it offers the BOCs to independent companies. Marano's comments came in response to complaints by MCI and others about CSO plans to use the Bell name and logo. Marano said organizations other than the BOCs might wish to get similar services from the CSO. /* ---------- */
