Lines: 27 Here's an all-time stinker: "STAR CRASH" Note: this article has spoiler information in it, but I wouldn't worry if I were you. This was made right after the first Star Wars movie, with a budget I would estimate at about $12.47. In the opening scene you look out into space at the stars, which are obviously colored lights put on a black backdrop. The story is about a war between the good emperor and the bad emperor. In the big battle scene, the good emperor's troops are loaded into torpedoes and shot into space at the bad emperor's battle cruisers. The torpedoes crash through the plate-glass windows on the bad emperor's ship, and the good troops jump out and start doing battle with the bad troops. This part couldn't be more hilarious if they had tried (which they didn't, I checked it out). In the final scene, the good emperor and his friends are tricked into a room on a planet where a bomb is about to explode. The good emperor saves everyone by calling in a beam from space to halt the passage of time. The good guys then calmly walk out of the room. A real howler, but I guess someone has to make them.
