Anyone ever see The Crater Lake Monster?  It shows up on the late show
about once every ten years.  The monster looks like a shag carpet with
tennis shoes, and whenever it eats someone, you first get a close-up shot
of the victim on the ground, screaming, then the guys under the shag carpet
pull their next meal in with them.  (At one point I counted eight pairs of
scruffy sneakers under the carpet.)

The best part, though, is the monster's demise.  After it eats half the people
around the lake, the handsome, all-American hero kills it with a bulldozer.
It's worth the electricty needed to run your television.
