Regarding the meaning of the end, the Boy and the Dog ate the girl...
and burped a bit, too. Funnier than "The Butler did it", eh?
I don't know, maybe the Boy likes Dogs better than Girls...
Either that or it's like the old adage, "Give me a fish I eat for day,
teach me to fish and I eat for a lifetime": the girl is one, where the
dog could sniff-out the presence of females anywhere. Which would you
choose to eat to survive? (Careful now...).
