Some of them did badly in previews; others may have been halted in post-production, especially if the B-school types you mention included clauses limiting payment to actors until the film was released (there were some pretty heavy names mentioned). Unfortunately, all I recall of this article was that I read it in an airline magazine, possibly one of the ones that does reprints; does anyone else remember seeing it?
