In fact, if you look in the netnews installation instructions, it suggests that netequette be put there. However, as you can see, it hasn't worked. When new sites come up, they usually don't install them. Also, they tend to get expired anyway, from bitrot or simple find commands. We're going to try a monthly posting of netequette to net.announce, suitably labelled so people can use their n key, and see how it works. Mark Horton
