As I found out recently, not all sites subscribe to or will forward
net.test.  This makes the group relatively useless for the fairly
important function of doing site to site or network path tests.  Given
the relative anarchy of sites on the nets, I have no solution to this
problem.  In addition, even if a site subscribes to and forwards
net.test, there is no guarantee that anyone is going to read and/or
respond to messages appearing in that group.
