This is (I promise!) my last word on the subject for a while, until
responses come in, but my news items crossed in the mail with
denelcor!rob.  I would recommend that denelcor!rob defer his decision
to withdraw the group for one week.  Lots more has come across
the net since the proposal was first made, so I think it's too soon
to call it.
