As I said in the previous article, the Parachute Club 
is a Top 40 band here in Ontario (The province,
not the city, for you Californians).
It is an anomaly in the women-hating,
male-dominated music industry --
and signed to an independent label for the moment,
which tells more abput the industry itself than the 
group. 
Hopefully, their success willl create a space
for other like-minded musicians to share
a more humane vision of the power
of music than 'Rock Rock Till You Drop'
and 'The Doggone Girl Is Mine'.
