	I've been to Sloan's Valley twice while in high school (~6 yrs ago).
It's a great time.  Once we exited the cave only to be greeted by some 
farmer pointing a shotgun at us. It seems that some entrances/exits are on
private property. I don't think the teacher lead a similar expidition since.
