Feghoots, VERY short stories ending with an abominable pun, are written
mainly by Reginald Bretnor under the pen name "Grendel Briarton", an
anagram.  They originally appeared in "The Magazine of Fantasy and
Science Fiction" while Tony Boucher was editor, but lately have been 
appearing in "Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine".  I believe that
some of them have been written by other persons, including Martin
Gardner and the Good Doctor himself, but I could be wrong.  (Please
don't flame if I am incorrect, just tell me so.)
