I believe that the third season HAS been released and I
won't spoil the ending for you... it's pretty good.

I think the animation was rather crude in the series as
a whole.  The Japanese seem content with limited animation
and I just don't see why.

One question:  Wan't the Empire in the second season called
"The Common Empire" and not "The Comet Empire?"  I always
thought this was an allusion to dirty red communism.
