I read this in a collection of Spinrad short stories, titled, I think, "Last Hurrah of the Golden Horde", after another story in the book. I enjoyed LHofGH quite a bit, (note: in other stories, particularly novels, Spinrad is a bit violent and shock-prone) but have been unable to find this book again, nor have I found the short story in any other book, though I've looked. Any help, anyone? Has anyone read his compilation on the History of Science Fiction (I forgot the title, similar to the previous phrase, though I think he avoided the dangerous term "science fiction"). I thought it was an excellent collection spanning the '40s, 50's and I think '60s, and with worthwhile editorial comment. A good book for a course, I thought. - Tom Beres {seismo, allegra, mcnc, brl-bmd, we13, gatech}!rlgvax!tom
