In regards to personal experiences with telling lies in a relationship.  
I have hedged and not answered and changed the subject, but I can't think
of any instance that I lied, except once.  That was when I told a very nice
young man that I did NOT love him.  And I'm glad I lied.

Of course, I'm not very honest with myself all the time, so how can I tell
the truth ALL the time?
