The person who is going to establish a relationship with this guy (gal) should soon realize that the relationship is going to be an ongoing learning experience for the both of them. Talk about room for growth! The important thing is to ask yourself the question "Did he(she) do this because he(she) goofed up, or does he(she) think so little of me?". Obviously, this requires the cooperation and efforts of both parties or else it just won't work.
