Lines: 9 about a month ago i read somewhere that it was possible, albeit rare, for a batter to amass four (count 'em, 4) strikes. apparently it happened last in 77 or 78. the article didn't say how (or maybe it did, but i forgot, as i also forgot where i read it). as you can see, i don't follow baseball real closely, but this phenomenon has piqued my curiousity now to the point of obsession. someone tell me, please, HOW IS IT POSSIBLE?? thanks. ken perlow ..!ihnp4!ihuxq!ken
