The drawback was that this formula only worked on Mr. Terrific (thus eliminating a whole army of supermen) and the formula only worked for 24 hours. The star who played Mr. Terrific used to be in Cracker-Jacks commercials (Jack somebody). At about this time, NBC had a superhero show called 'Captain Nice' which I believe was produced by Mel Brooks. Its' hero developed his super formula in a police crime lab.
