Message-ID: <139@mtplx1.UUCP> Date: Wed, 21-Sep-83 11:58:40 EDT Article-I.D.: mtplx1.139 Posted: Wed Sep 21 11:58:40 1983 Date-Received: Thu, 22-Sep-83 05:04:12 EDT Organization: Micro/Tel, Inc., St. Louis Lines: 30 Here's yet another pilot to discuss here in net.tv. Unfortunately I don't remember the title, or the actors, nor do I know whatever happened to it. The basic scene was an old house (quaint, huh?) with a large circular stained glass window with an Oriental-looking design in it. The characters were an elderly fellow, his manservant, and a young man. Presumabely the old guy was some kind of sorcerer and the young guy was an unwilling apprentice. The story, as I recall, seemed to center around the old sorcerer trying to find someone to be his new apprentice, a daring rescue of an innocent firl from evil forces, and the unwilling apprentice gaining the powers of his mentor through a light show and the sorceror's own death. At the end, the young guy really did have the powers and he conveniently met up with the girl that he rescued, even though she didn't remember anything at all about her experiences. I apologize for the shabby rendition of this story, but if anyone can enlighten us with more details, I shall be happy. By the way, this story reminds me greatly of Carlos Castenadas' experiences as related to us in books like Journey to Ixtlan, The Second Ring of Power, and the The Eagle's Gift. Any info on these books (and his others) would also be interesting to read about. Thanks for any answers/information. Morris Kahn Micro/Tel, Inc.
