     The pilot was called 'Dr. Strange' and it was loosly (very 
     loosly) based on the comic strip.  The young man was a surgeon
     with a large ring he didn't know anything about.  He is met by 
     Merlin, who lives in a large house with a window that has the same
     design as his ring.  Jessica Walters is the evil enemy.  It was
     an excellent pilot, but of course, the networks aren't the least
     bit interested in quality fantasy w/o kiddie/teenagers as the 
     main characters.
