Lines: 23 If Jim Belushi is in fact going to be a regular on Saturday Night Live (or even a guest), I'm not real sure how I feel about this. Forget the fact that, on the surface at least, it would seem to be a cheap attempt to further cash in on the late John Belushi's continuing popularity. I've seen Jim perform (live and on TV) and he can be a decent actor. So let's give him his due there. My problem is that that there are too many similarities between Jim and John. I'm not saying they're twins or anything. But they do look a lot alike. They also have similar voices. Furthermore, I've seen pictures of Jim clowning around and he is capable of doing many facial expressions which are identical to those that John used to do. Now, seeing Jim perform in the past hasn't botherd me. But I would really have problems watching him on SNL. For awhile anyway. I think it would be spooky, sort of like deja vu. Now I like Jim Belushi. I think he's a good actor and I hope he makes it big someday. But I don't think I'd like him on SNL. What do all of you SNL fans think out there? John V. Smith
