I just got back from the Highland Folk Festival in Tilton NH (which I
mentioned in a previous note).  There was a comedian there who was
amazingly funny, and the claim was that he will be on the David
Letterman show on October the 4th.  his name was something like
Jay Lenno (he wasn't on the program, so I'm not sure).  Anyway I'd
just like to predict that it will be worth watching.

By the way Loudon Wainwright III was not at his best.  He was quite
mild, maybe calmed by the folk aura (hah!).  Though he did sing
"dead skunk", which I'd thought he didn't do anymore.  "THAT old
thing", he said when the audience was screaming for it.

So now the two topics LWIII and David Letterman have been fused.
