One of our 4.1BSD systems has a TS11 tape drive, and whenever I do
two "mt offl"s in a row without waiting for the first one to finish
(both times I did it, it was by accident) the machine hangs (except
for interrupt stuff) until the first one finishes.  Cute, huh?
