I am currently running unix v6 on a pdp 11/70 system with
rm03 disk drives and a ts11 tape drive (not recommended!!).
I am trying to justify upgrading to system 5 but have hit
a minor snag ---- system 5 as distributed does not support
this configuration. Can anyone tell me where we could get
a bootable tape for this configuration or suggest a way
to get system 5 running on this system without replacing hardware.
If we are forced to buy new disks to upgrade to system 5 then
the powers that be would be reluctant to get the new license.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
