Studies have shown that children who attend daycare are not statistically different from their parent-tended counterparts EXCEPT that the children who attend daycare seem to have more sophisticated social skills. In fact, in a recent American Pediatrics Association report, it was found that infants and toddlers in daycare centers and homes do not even get sick significantly more than their homebound peers.
