The Parachute Club either has a distribution deal or an actual recording
contract with RCA Records, and I believe their single, "Rise Up", is
scheduled for US release.  Maybe their album too.  They've got a video
to go with their single.
  It certainly is nice to see a very optimistic, and at the same time
political, band doing well.  But I'm sure they're succeeding in the halls
of The Recording Industry by virtue of a very catchy single, and not their
politics or feminist appeal.
