I was at a garage sale Saturday at which there were a lot of toys
for sale. Two little girls, maybe about 4 years old, were playing
under a table.  One was showing the other how to use a toy electric
razor on her legs and assuring her friend that "Women shave their
legs" like it was as great an adult privilege as kissing men and
doing calculus.  Just to show what a DISGUSTING society we live in.
(My basic feeling is that my employer pays me enough to merit my
doing a few basically unpleasant things like shaving my legs and
wearing shoes, and anyone who likes shaving their legs is entitled
to their little eccentricities (I find cleaning the kitchen soothing,
so who am I to make fun), but corrupting kids is another matter
altogether.
