Carstensen stated that the fact that she saw two little girls playing with a toy razor with one girl saying that "Women shave their legs" was evidence of a DISGUSTING society. Now I don't really care if a person (male or female) does or does not shave parts of his or her body. I do object to what I perceive as a sexist attitude by the author. I doubt that she would have had a similar reaction had she heard two little boys playing with a toy razor with one of them saying "Men shave their faces". If I am wrong on this I apologize. mas
