C. Berkeley Computer Science Lines: 15 From GEOFF5@SRI-CSL Sat Oct 8 22:46:34 1983 I have a problem with the sendmail program. We are currently running 4.2 BSD UNIX. The problem is that the mail program refuses to accept mail addresses containing @ signs in them. It comes back saying something like "user@machine ... user unknown". At first I thought that it was a response Mail was giving me, but the error message seems to come from sendmail. So ... I am not certain if this has anything to do with this problem, but the 2 11/750 vaxes that we have do not have ethernet connection to the outside world. All the comunication is done via dialups, and berknet. I don't think that this should affect anything, but you never know. Serge
