Because the car has MacPherson strut front suspension, the job is going to cost big bucks. I got three opinions, all of which said that I need to replace both front strut assemblies. My local service station will install Monroe assemblies for $170. Sears wants $140 for their work, and Firestone has a special on "super struts" for $115. All three say I'll need a front end alignment after installation. I'm not sure which is best. Any recommendations?
