I am in the market for a cheap ($2-3k) used sports (sporty) car,
suitable for use as a commuter car.  I am considering a triumph
TR7, as there are many around, in reasonable shape, for reasonable
$'s.  Question:  Anyone have any TR7 info on winter use (I live in
Chicago)?  (I used to have a 914, that I really liked, but
air-cooled engines just don't cut it in the winter).

Any other insights and/or suggestions would be appreciated.
(No flames about british cars in general, please).
