I'd like to implement a graphical menu in which the user would move a cursor into a box then press a button to select that item. Most of or possibly all of the menu would be displayed as a tree structure. The user could skip from any item to any other item simply by moving the cursor around the screen; the only reason for showing the tree structure is to provide a kind of associative map to remind users how the various tasks are related. Does anyone have experience using such a menu? Or recommendations for implementing this idea? Dean Radin AT&T Bell Labs - Columbus
