Baby Watson's IS a good cheesecake, but hardly #1.
I've discovered several that approach this level though:

     1)  Cheesy Eddie's   Rochester, New York
     2)  Rowinsky's  Boston, MA (However, the shop had disappeared
                             the last time I was in Harvard Sq.!)
     3)  ?????   (a small diner in Montclair, New Jersey-- a freind
                  gave me one of their cakes a few years back and
                  it was heaven.  Anyone know the name of the diner?)
     4)  Baby Watson's fits in here somewhere.

Of course, there are all those New Yorkers who claim Lindy's has
the last word in cheesecake.  I was there in August, and was so 
unimpressed I didn't even finish it.
