	I am looking for a good encryption technique, suitable
for implementation on a microcomputer (in other words having
source code already available would be real nice).  Lacking
knowledge of the subject, I am hoping someone out there can point
me in the right direction - either by mailing source code or
the names of some good texts on the subject.  I'm also interested
in people's opinions of the various algorithms commonly used -
DES, etc.  Which one is considered "safest"?  Public key would
be nice, but is not a requirement (the jury is still out on
those, right?).
