The US Naval Observatory has established a 900 number which can handle
8000 (??) lines into the master clock at one time. The number is 
	900-410-TIME
Remember - .50c charge for the call...

They claim that they have between 6 and 8000 calls per day into the
clock,
and that now they will be able to handle even more...

Does the owner of a 900 number make any money off of the .50c?
Does the owner subsidize the number?
