I would like to have an overflow hunting on top of the regular UCD service and would like to assign a unique phone number to each trunk in the UCD hunt group. Could you also explain to me why overflow queuing requires H/W at the central office. An engineer from Southern Bell just told me that the parameters in ESS facility management software are generic and cannot be customized at the central office. I intend to use the UCD service for data traffic, and I would very much like to use ESS facility management software to identify a faulty line. Two typical symptoms of a faulty line are 1. No line usage over a long period of time. 2. a line is being connected and disconnected too often. The fault can be caused by a bad local loop, a bad modem or a bad FE port card. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance ATTISL ..houxq!kester
