Do you know how hard it is to read something and run across, say, the word "dog's", and then spend several fractions of a second looking for the word describing what the dog possesses, only to realize that the person who wrote the sentence meant "more than one dog"??? By then, I've forgotten the rest of the sentence. WHEN ONE PLURALIZES A WORD, ONE *DOES NOT* USE AN APOSTROPHE!!!!! Which is easier to read: The dogs chased me. or The dog's chased me. ??? Also, "alot" is NOT a word! Try finding "alot" in a dictionary. Please, please, it's "A LOT"! Sorry if I offended any of you out there who don't understand punctuation rules. Waiting for the flames from lazy and/or apathetic writers, Laura @ BTL Naperville, IL ...!ihnp4!ihuxb!irish
