Seriously, if those afore-mentioned "jackasses" new how difficult it is to see driving a car at night, they would have lights! For the record, I drive and bicycle here in Boulder. When I ride at night, I wear a reflective bright yellow backpack, have a headlight *and* leg light, as well as full reflectors, and I still don't feel safe on major streets. I also avoid major streets whenever there is an alternate side street available. I don't pass cars on the right, and on multi-lane roads, I ride right down the middle of the right lane. I don't want some car passing me without changing lanes! I also do *not* run red lights, and I wish to hell the cops would ticket the cyclists who do.
