Bumper to Bumper cars going 60 MPH is okay for the time that you are going 60 MPH, but what usually happens is that one person will stop and bumper to bumper becomes bumper in bumper, and I've seen it happen. Look at Boston cab drivers. They must be the worst drivers I have ever seen. I'm sure most of them don't even have liscenses. I was in one Boston cab and the driver said "I'm new at this." I said, "Oh, just started being a cabbie, eh?" and he said, "No, I meant driving." Needless to say, I barely made it out alive, among his later comments were "Boy, just like the stockcars.." Now, I live in New York, so I know what a good driver is. No matter how fast we go, we are still driving safely. Boston is right up there in the "most accidents" statistics which is by the way, led by New Mexico. -Ron (..decvax!genrad!mit-eddie!ronnie) (RONNIE@MIT-ML.arpa)
