have you noticed that creationists only present "evidence" against evolution
& not for their theory?  that's because theirs isn't a theory at all--merely
an allegation.  of course, if it's true, evolution is probably not true.
on the other hand, their allegation of a recent, all-of-a-sudden creation as
a refutation of evolution would be like the allegation that seeing an object
"fall up" refutes the theory of gravitation.  they have no theoretical
context in which to examine evolutionary evidence, pro or con.  this is the
situation galileo was in--after all aristotelian physics described much of
the everyday world much better than he could.  but he had a theoretical basis
for definitive experiment.
