Surely you know that AC transit does not operate over the Golden Gate bridge (unless they've started in the past two years). AC transit only runs in the East Bay, and makes quick jaunts over the Bay Bridge (not the Golden Gate) to drop people off at the terminal at the SF end of the bridge. They don't go near Marin County. Yet it's the Golden Gate bridge (as you say) that's always being painted.
