Unfortunately, a large percentage of the bicyclists I've seen lately DON'T slow down and DON'T wait for cross traffic, they bull right through the intersection unless it is actually blocked by a car passing through. In that case they get mad at the driver. If a car is waiting its turn at the intersection and a bicycle comes up from behind it, you know what that bicyclist is going to do: she (or he) is going to slip around the car and continue right through without stopping. If the car wants to turn right, the bicyclist gets angry. Bicycling is a very healthy thing to do, but it seems to be MOSTLY (not entirely, but mostly) practiced by idiots. scott preece ihnp4!uiucdcs!uicsl!preece
