It seems as if rates in excess of $1000 is fairly common. As it turns out, I guess Indiana is not such a bad place to be. I'm 30 yrs. old and married paying only about $250 a year for my insurance (No collision coverage though since my car is 10 years old.) Getting married incidentaly did not change my rates.
