Lines: 10 Wishes should be run according to the principle of conservation of effort expended to grant them. This of course assumes a lazy wish-granting entity. For example, "I wish my sword of cold would never break" should be granted by turning the sword into a very strong non-cold (hence non-brittle) sword. Some GM's I know grant wishes for a magical item by teleporting the item away from the nearest being who owns one.
