I am running a Star Frontiers game here in PY, and may be contributing some experience from running that campaign. But up to this week I've been running short adventures, as a sort of warm-up for the characters to get a few experience points, familiarize ourselves with the combat system, and lull the players into the World View. I find that combat systems are so complicated, with lots of details about actions and roll modifiers, and it takes me a long time practising to be able to remember the nits and grits. Is this common? Some of my players read the news, so I can't say more ... Bob Duncanson, AT&T Bell Laboratories {eagle, allegra, cbosgd, ihnp4}!pyuxnn!rld
