Yes, it is possible to get past level 32; however, it does take a little (alot) of luck. The method I use is the following: When you first appear on level 32, watch for the mine which vanishes; it is the first of the invisible mines. Kill this one immediately. Next, fire 3 or 4 shots, then hyperspace. Continue doing this until you have successfully completed the level. As I said, it takes alot of luck. Sometimes I will make it through on my first attempt, while on other times, I will lose 8 or 10 ships. It is definitely not easy!!! As to the question concerning the algorithm for resetting the game, there is no real algorithm!! I called GCE in California to ask them about that one, and they claimed it was not a bug (BS). The engineer did tell me, though, that if you don't press the fire button after clearing a level, it won't reset on you; this does seem to work. fred taft hp-pcd!fred
