I'm a newcomer to UNIX and USENET and I've learned emacs but I can't even find any documentation on vi. Is there any way to use the "r" or "f" commands in readnews without getting dumped into vi to "sink or swim". I tried to respond to an article that I had a comment on and by the time I was through, I had to log onto another terminal to kill vi, readnews, and even my shell to get my terminal to talk to me again. I'm willing to learn vi, but I'd prefer to find some way to use readnews without it. Thanks in advance. < hao | nbires | brl-bmd | csu-cs >!denelcor!neal
