When running the assembler under an early version of RDOS on a Data
General Nova, it once wrote to the console, "WHAT???  CALL DGC!!!".

I wasn't sure what this meant, so I called a friend (who works at DGC)
and shot the breeze with him for a few minutes.  After a while, he
asked me, "Why'd you call, Dave?".

I replied that my computer had told me to.  He was as mystified as I
was.  I re-ran the assembler, on the same source file, and the job
ran normally.  I've never seen this message since.
