the article concerning BLKTRAN hasn't the qualifications to be considered
humorous and for this reason shouldn't be in this category. in fact, it is
so offensive, to any HUMAN being (and not just to Blacks), that there is
no fitting category for it whatsoever. it is my feeling that this kind
of racist offering has no place on UNIX news, particularly in light of the
offensive of the Reagan administration against existing civil rights
legislation. 
 
i would think an apology on the part of the writer of the BLKTRAN article
is the very least that one could expect. i found the whole thing vile and
disgusting.
