Actually, the way I heard the Life "round" was:

	"That's life."
	"What's life?"
	"Life's a magazine."
	"Where can I get it?"
	"At your local newstand."
	"But I don't have any money?"
	"That's life."
	[ ... ]

	... which usually got started by someone giving a sob story that
no one was in the mood to listen to. People should listen instead. I got
tired of hearing this at a friend's place.
